A Look At The Puma X Nipsey Hussle “TMC” Collection

PUMA’s TMC Collection, dedicated to the memory of Late rapper Nipsey Hussle, will be available in stores next week, but before then, the sportswear icon is giving us a full look at the set of sport wears.

The collection, which comprises of 19 pieces, was made using Nipsey’s actual measurements. It incorporates input from Nipsey from when he was alive and working on upcoming drops with PUMA’s brand ambassador team. It also features two new iterations of the classic California sneaker.

Aside from the sneakers, the collection features tracksuits, T-shirts, hoodies and more. Every piece includes overlays and imagery signature of the rapper such as his home state of California and his brand.

The PUMA x TMC collection arrives in stores on September 5 and according to Puma, 100% of the net proceeds from the collection will be donated to the Neighborhood Nip Foundation, which was set up to provide youth with opportunities to get into music.

Nipsey Hussle signed with Puma roughly a year before his untimely death in March. He was shot and killed in front of his TMC store in Los Angeles on March 31.

Nipsey was shot and killed outside his clothing store ‘The Marathon Clothing’ on Slauson Avenue in South Los Angeles, on March 31, 2019. His death has led to a continuous outpour of love and support on social media from his fans and celebrities.

During his lifetime, Hussle was known for focusing on “giving solutions and inspiration” to young black men like him. The rapper denounced gun violence through his music, influence and community work. Apart from funding improvements to neighbourhood schools, Nipsey also spent time with students and participated in panels about growing up in the area and the influence of gang culture.
