50 Cent explains to a fan why Fetty Wap “fell off” from high music ranks.
Trust 50 Cent to say things as they are, even when he doesn’t really have to. Funny enough, whenever the rapper speaks, social media listens. As we all know, there is always some truth in all that the rapper says, no matter how hidden it is.
50 recently celebrated the world premiere of the final season of his Executive-produced hit TV series, Power. He was joined by a lot of celebs including trap king, Fetty Wap. The rapper who also uploaded photos from the event posted a shot of him with Fetty and wrote; “@fettywap1738 touch the stage man shit was lit”. Fans, surprised to see Fetty commented on how
the singer had “fallen off”. Directly responding to a commenter, 50 wrote;
“He just had a contract issue. It makes a artist not want to make music.”
This could actually be true when you think about it. It has been the case with a lot of artists including Lil Uzi Vert who still found a way around it.
There was a time when the name, Fetty Wap dominated the charts. A time when the song Trap Queen was talked about by everyone. It was truly a time that saw Fetty Wap in all his glory. Hitting number two on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart and securing a record deal with 300 Entertainment, Fetty dropped a number one charting album. Fast forward to right now, the trap artist is nowhere to be seen, and that’s kind of sad. You could say he “Fell Off”.
